Many of us at Baby Einstein are parents and we have to be honest—hanging out with our kids is just plain fun. Maybe it’s the completely fresh perspective with which they look at the world or perhaps it’s that they are just so darn cute—either way, we’re always looking for new ways to keep playtime varied and engaging. From craft time to stories to dancing to singing to listening to music, there are definitely a lot of activities to draw from. Here are some suggestions:
1. Explore the colors and textures of your own home—group together a group of similarly colored items (soft blue towels, smooth green apples, etc.) and have baby explore a new hue every day.
2. Have baby turn the pages of the book as you read to them. You can even try doing different voices for the characters!
3. Take baby to the petting zoo and imitate the noises of the animals you’re looking at.
